Game 1: Cherry Creek 6, Dbat Mustangs 2: WP Keys  LP Smith  2B - Flores (D) Hinojosa (D) McCabe (C) Wilson (C) Tibbitts (C)      HR - Tibbitts

Bryan Tibbitts goes 3-4 with a Double and Home Run to lead Cherry Creek to an opening tournament win.  Denton Keys threw 8 innings while striking out 8 batters to get the win

 

 

Game 2: Utah Bucks 3, Danville Hoots 2: WP-Nielsen. LP-Schaff.  2B Lacy (D) Hobson (D) Page (U)

The Bucks recorded the walk off win with a RBI double by Seth Rhineer in the bottom of the 9th inning> Despite being outhit 12-6, the Bucks managed to hang on for the win

 

 

Game 3: So Cal Renegades 11, Albuquerque Baseball Academy 7: WP-Parker. LP-Prieto. 2B- Carpenter (S) Bregman (A) Beck (A) 3B - Gomez

The Renegades overcame a Albuquerque rally late to get the opening day win. Matt Carpenter was 3 for 5 with a double and 3 RBI's

 

 

Game 4: Utah Marshalls 5, Austin Wings 4:WP-Bonnell. LP-French. 2B- Fickel (A) HR - Litterer (A) Marlow (A)

Bryan Bonnell threw 7 1/3 innings and Kolton Mahoney closed the door with a 7 out save as the Marshalls opened their title defense with a opening round win.  Kody Davis and Cole Wilstead notched two hits a peice.

 

Game 5: Albuquerque Baseball Academy 7, Austin Wings 0:WP-Carbajal. LP-Litterer. 2B-Holcomb (Au) Porter (Al) Nelson (Al) Spencer (Al).

Stephen Carbajal scattered 5 hits in 7 shutout innings to earn the victory.  Kaden Porter 2 for 4 with a double.

 

 

 

Game 6: Danville Hoots 19, Cherry Creek 9: WP-Slinger. LP-Beauprez. 2B-Wilson (C) Samuels (C) Lacy (D) Hobson (D) Keck (D).

Andrew Hobson went 5 for 5 with a double and 4 RBI's. Ryan Lacy was 4 for 5 with 4 RBI's. Brandon Woo was 4 for 4 with 3 RBI's.

 

 

Game 7: Utah Marshalls 8, So Cal Renegades 6: WP-Marshall LP-Gomez 2B-Esmay (U) Wilstead (U) Davis (U)

Tucker Esmay was 3 for 5 and Mason Marshall threw 4 2/3 scoreless innings to record the win on the mound.

 

 

Game 8: Utah Bucks 12, DBat Mustangs 4: WP-Flaherty. LP-Lumpp. 2B-Stell 2 (D) Butcher (U) Carroll 2 (U)

Colton Barkdull went 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored and Dalton Carroll ripped 2 doubles as the Bucks went to 2-0 in pool play 

 

 

Game 9: So Cal Renegades 3,  Austin Wings 4 : WP-Heldman LP-Megill   2B Shaw (A) Carpenter (S) HR - Shaw (A) Carpenter (S)

Collin Shaw was 2 for 3 with a double and home run to help Austin advance out of pool play into the Championship bracket.

 

 

 

Game 10: Utah Marshalls 5 , Albuquerque Baseball Academy 1: WP-Lail. LP-Hendrick.  2B - Bregman (A) Orton (U)

Brady Lail threw seven strong innings only yeilding one run while Tanner Chauncey was 3 for 4 and kicked in 3 RBI's to pace the Marshalls to a 3-0 pool play record and the #1 Seed in bracket play 

 

 

Game 11: Cherry Creek 10 , Utah Bucks 7 : WP-Mucha. LP-Rupe.  2B - Yagi (U) Page (U) Jax 2 (C) Tibbitts (C)

Jax griffin went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles to help Cherry Creek secure the #1 Seed for bracket play. 

 

Game 12: D-Bat Mustangs 6 , Danville Hoots 2 : WP-Liss. LP-Linney. 2B - Keck (DH) Kontilis (DH) McElroy(DB) Woodson (DB)

Tyler Liss went 8 2/3 innings to lead the DBat Mustangs.  The win got Dbat into bracket play

So Cal Renegades 7 , Danville Hoots 1:  WP- Ginkel  LP- Yee    2B Esser (S) Alamo (S)

Tyler Alamo was 2 fo 4 with a double and rbi to lead So Cal to a consolation bracket win

 

Austin Wings 6 , DBat Mustangs 3:   WP- Hester  LP- Lowe    2B French (A) Holcomb (A) Shaw (A)  HR Stell (D)

Collin Shaw was 3 for 4 with a double a 2 RBI's to help Austin advance in the Championship Bracket

Dallas Carrol went 3 for 4 while his brother Dalton threw 8 strong innings as the Bucks rallied for 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning to keep their Gates Field WS Championship hopes alive

Brooks Marlow went 3 for 5 with 2 double and a home run to lead Austin to the Championship Game of the Gates Field WS

 

Utah Marshalls 2, Utah Bucks 1:  WP-Mahoney   LP-Nielsen   2B Kata (B)  Barkdull (B) Wilstead 2 (M)

The Utah Marshalls scored with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th to win a thriller and punch their ticket to the Gates Field WS Championship Game.  Cole Wilstead was 3 for 4 with 2 double and the game winning single.

 

Consolation Championship, Albuquerque 15, DBat Mustangs 5  WP- Sandoval   LP-Smith  2B Odwyer (A) Bregman (A) Swihart 2 (A) Porter (A) Wall (D) Lowe (D) Hinojosa (D)  HR Bregman (A) Porter (A)

Blake Swihart was 3 for 5 with two doubles to lead Albuquerque to the Consolation Championship

 

3rd Place Game:  utah Bucks 4, Cherry Creek 4  WP-  LP-   2B Milligan (C) Yagi 2 (U) Page (U) Nielsen (U)

The game ended in a tie in the 7th inning due to rain delay.  Carter Yagi and Lane Milligan both posted 3 for 4 outings in the rain shortened game
