Designed by Luke Yoder of the San Diego Padres director of field and landscape.  Gates Field is of the highest quality.  The dimesions of Gates Field are 353 down the left field line, 389 feet in center and 340 down the right field line. 

 

 

 

 

 

Pre cast quotes from baseball legends like Babe Ruth and Ernie Banks add a historical theme to Gates Field 

 

Gates Field can accomodate up to 2500 people. 100 in 1500 square feet of press boxes located directly behind home plate at field level, 700 in individual seating, and the reaminder on the grass berms surrounding the field
