The Marshall Gates Foundation is Non - Profit 501 (c) (3) Foundation. It's purpose is to provide training and instruction for amateur baseball athletes, for national and international competition in baseball at Gates Field
Gates Field
Gates Field is a state-of-the-art, "major league quality" baseball field and training facility in Kearns, Utah. Gates Field was built to the highest quality levels with generous gifts to the Granite Schools Foundation for Kevin P. Gates. Gates Field has been improved by the Marshall Gates Foundation. Gates Field has a full time grounds crew and training staff
The USA Marshalls and Utah Bucks are both 18U teams sponsored, trained and coached by the foundation. The teams have already played all over the country including a trip to Hawaii. Teams from all over the country come to compete against the Marshalls and Bucks at Gates Field
Tournaments
The Foundation also hosts regional and national tournaments of competition for amateurs at Gates Field. In 2010, the Inagural Gates Field World Series will be held. The tournament will feature 8 of the best teams in the country.
John Buck Baseball Camp
The Foundation host a baseball camp along with a fundrainsing golf tournament. The camp features 8-10 current MLB Players and the cost for kids to attend is $10. The kids receive a camp t-shirt as well as other gifts.
